Discover Ontario ~ Bruce Peninsula National Park
Ontario Visited is dedicated to discovering and exploring Ontario Communities, their events and their residents.
Our DISCOVER ONTARIO video series takes visitors along with us as we learn more about the communities and events we experience. Each video and post include an “interesting” fact about the community or event we visited. See if you can guess the right answer!
This week’s video features Bruce Peninsula National Park. This amazing National Park is located on the Bruce Peninsula, just south of the scenic Village of Tobermory.
The welcome visitor’s centre has a great display of area artifacts and leads to the park’s portion of the Bruce Trail. As you enter the trail, there’s a sign pointing you to the tower that overlooks Georgian Bay. Further along, the trail takes you to an observation platform that give visitors a chance to rest and to admire the breathtaking scene! This definitely a wonderful attraction for the whole family!
What year was the park’s visitor centre opened?
