Discover Ontario ~ City of North Bay
Ontario Visited is dedicated to discovering and exploring Ontario Communities, their events and their residents.
Our DISCOVER ONTARIO video series takes visitors along with us as we learn more about the communities and events we experience. Each video and post include an “interesting” fact about the community or event we visited. See if you can guess the right answer!
My cousin, who lives in North Bay, always refers to himself as “Jim from the Bay”. Now that Judi and I live in Thornbury on Georgian Bay, I wonder if I should be referring to myself as “Gary from the Bay”.
That being said, I understand why Jim calls himself that. North Bay is a wonderful place to visit and according to Jim a great place to live in.
We’ve been lucky enough to visit with Jim in North Bay. On each trip, with Jim as our guide, we have discovered something new and interesting.
We can’t be to only ones who appreciate the “Bay”, because a number of movies and television series have been shot there!
If you are looking for a great place to visit, try North Bay. If you do, you can write your friends and tell them “your (?) from the Bay”!
This video vignette features tour the town and then ask a FUN question. Enjoy the video and, when you can, go out and discover North Bay and all that it offers!
