“BE THERE, when we can’t be there!”
from Gary (Festival Nomad) & Judi (Scoop) McWilliams
During this time of turmoil, Judi and I want to wish you a safe and healthy Spring!
Like everyone, we are staying home and “self-isolating”.
As a result, we have been evaluating Ontario Visited and what it means during the COVID-10 pandemic.
Rather than worrying about the future, we are taking a look at our past 13+ years and using the time to create various videos.
It has been very enlightening to see how much we have done and seen over all these years! Also, it’s been a lot of fun and very rewarding to bring you a “glimpse” of our travels across Ontario!
To help visitors to our websites, we have created “6 Ways of BEING THERE, when we can’t BE THERE!”.
These “6 Ways” include Adventure stories (with photos and videos), 4 BEEN THERE video series and our own Ontario Visited Blogs.
The photos shown below are “linked” to the “6 Ways” while the photos along the sides are linked to individual video pages.
NOTE: During the COVID-19 crisis, we realized that some of our “Lessons and Videos” can’t be used at this time, but they will come in handy, once the crisis has passed. Please stay safe!
Ontario Visited Adventures ~ “A Moment in Time“
It’s your turn to explore, discover and create your “Own Adventure… Your Own Moment in Time”!
All articles, photos and videos on this website are exclusive to Festival and Event Services Inc. and it’s subsidiary, Ontario Visited and have been produced at its own expense.
Each is a personal account of our visits to Ontario communities and their events. The time period of the articles and their photos are dependent on the time period of our visit. The photos and articles are archival and may be a product of the past.
BEE in the Know Video Series ~ “Adventure Tips”
“Over the past 13 years, we have visited hundreds of communities and events and have learned many fun and valuable lessons along the way!
As a result, we thought we would pass on these “lesson learned”, good and bad through our weekly “BEE IN THE KNOW” video series.”
Discover Ontario Video Series ~ “Discovering Ontario”
Ontario Visited is dedicated to discovering and exploring Ontario communities, their events and their residents.
Our DISCOVER ONTARIO video series takes visitors along with us as we learn more about the communities and events we experience. Each video and post includes an “interesting” fact about the community or event we visited. See if you can guess the right answer!
Have fun and hopefully we will see you along the “Ontario Road of Discovery”!
Ontario Re-Visited Video Series ~ “Discovering Your Roots”
“At the time when citizens did courageous acts to defend their land, country, communities, they may not have conscientiously known the impact they were having on future generations. Today, we can instantaneously see the results of our efforts. This through both today’s world-wide “24-hour” media and through the Internet’s “real-time” technologies.” (War of 1812)
Ontario Re-Visited examines our past in this weekly video series, “Discovering Your Roots“.
Country Routes Video Series ~ “Finding a Road Less Traveled”
If you have ever taken a long drive in the country, you know how relaxing it can be.
Ontario is especially fortunate to have so many scenic country roads. Over the past 13+ years, we have traveled throughout Ontario, and have experience many roads and the communities and farms along them.
Our bi-weekly Country Routes Video Series is a tribute to all that we have explore, discovered and experienced.
We hope that you will find “you will find a road less traveled”!
