Whiskey & Ivory brings Zac Brown Band and Billy Joel to Sault Ste. Marie
Whiskey & Ivory – The Best of Zac Brown Band & Billy Joel takes the stage June 27 at The Sault Community Theatre Centre with proceeds supporting St. Vincent’s Place Food Bank
Whiskey & Ivory brings two well-known songbooks into one concert when Elton Lammie performs music associated with Zac Brown Band and Billy Joel in Sault Ste. Marie on June 27.
The show moves between Billy Joel staples such as “Piano Man” and the country sound tied to Zac Brown Band, including “Chicken Fried.” Elton Lammie returns to the stage after his Country Greats tribute, this time building a program around two artists whose music spans different styles and decades.
Backed by live musicians, Lammie performs a set that combines piano-driven pop and southern country-rock in one evening. The concert draws on the catalogue, stories and sound of both acts, pairing Billy Joel’s New York songwriting with the more laid-back feel of Zac Brown Band.
The event also supports St. Vincent Place Food Bank in Sault Ste. Marie. Non-perishable food items will be collected at the door on behalf of the organization. Every donation supports St. Vincent Place’s mission to provide essential food support to individuals and families in the community who are facing food insecurity.
Whiskey & Ivory takes place Saturday June 27, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., at The Sault Community Theatre Centre, 1007 Trunk Rd.
