The Maker’s Market will join Tourism North Bay as the event’s new partner when the annual holiday market returns to Jack Burrows Square this November

The Winter Outdoor Market Experience will return to downtown North Bay this November with three outdoor markets and a new market partner.

The market will once again take place at Jack Burrows Square outside the North Bay Museum on Nov. 7, 14 and 21 before wrapping up alongside the Old-Fashioned Downtown Christmas Walk on Nov. 27.

This year also marks a change behind the scenes.

After helping establish the Winter Outdoor Market Experience as one of North Bay’s signature holiday events, The Artisans Way is stepping away from the event.

“We are proud of what we were able to build together in support of local artisans, makers and small businesses,” said Brianna Lintner, owner and founder of The Artisans Way.

“As our business focuses on new opportunities, we leave knowing the market is in great hands and can’t wait to see the Winter Outdoor Market Experience continue to thrive for years to come.”

Taking its place as Tourism North Bay’s partner is The Maker’s Market, which will help showcase local artisans, makers and producers during the event.

“We’re excited to be part of the Winter Outdoor Market Experience and look forward to helping bring the magic, joy, and spirit of the holiday season to North Bay,” said Melanie Chenier, owner and operator of The Maker’s Market Inc.

“Together, we hope to create a festive shopping experience that celebrates local makers and inspires the community to shop local this Christmas.”

Visitors can expect local vendors, live entertainment, seasonal treats and family-friendly activities.

“The Winter Outdoor Market Experience has become much more than a market – we are continuing to create new and magical experiences that encourage both residents and visitors to return each weekend and discover everything our community has to offer throughout the winter months,” said Tanya Bédard, executive director of Tourism North Bay.

“All while supporting local entrepreneurs who make North Bay’s creative community shine.”

Vendor applications are now open. Tourism North Bay says additional programming details and event announcements will be released in the coming months.
