City’s sweetest soiree brings hundreds of cake lovers together

Organized by Toronto’s Le Dolci Culinary School and sponsored by CityPlace and Fort York Business Improvement Area (BIA), the third-annual Cake Picnic is back to delight baking-enthusiasts on Saturday, September 19 from 10am until 2pm at a secret downtown location.
 Each guest must bring a homemade cake to share, then everyone picnics together – making sweet memories and swapping baking stories while savouring a variety of decadent slices.
 
Over 400 guests (and 400 cakes!) are expected to gather on picnic blankets in a picturesque outdoor destination while connecting over their shared passion for all things cake. The event will also feature live DJ sets, glam and henna stations, alcohol-free cocktails and a coffee bar, a cake-inspired photo booth and loads of delicious sprinkle-filled fun. The event is open to everyone, from professional to budding bakers.
