Thanks to the wildly popular stage musical and blockbuster movie Wicked, we finally know how Elphaba and Glinda met, became friends and discovered that sharing a room can be considerably more dangerous than flying monkeys.

But what happened next?

It’s time to fast-forward to the Land of Oz, where Dorothy has dropped in unexpectedly, the Wicked Witch of the West is holding a grudge, and Glinda the Good Witch of the North is still making an entrance wherever bubbles are available.

From August 19 to 22, Lighthouse Festival’s talented Young Company brings The Wizard of Oz to the stage at Lighthouse Theatre in Port Dover. Adapted and directed by Marcus Lundgren, this hilarious take on the beloved classic features Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion and one extremely determined witch—all played by an incredible cast of young performers.
