‘Big things planned’: Preregister now for Queen Street Cruise

This year’s cruise takes place on June 19 and 20

The Queen Street Cruise is gearing up for another exciting year as organizers officially announce that preregistration is now open for the ninth annual downtown event, taking place June 19 and 20.

Participants can now secure their spot and “Join the Ride” for just $20 per vehicle, with the option to bundle registration with the official 2026 QSC event T-shirt for a total of $45. Pre-ordering your shirt not only adds to the experience but also guarantees your preferred size, ensuring you don’t miss out on Cruise weekend.

We want to make the experience as seamless as possible from the moment participants arrive,” said QSC Chair, Gary Trembinski Jr.

Pre-registration not only saves time for the participant and the volunteers, but it allows our guests to get parked, settled, and enjoy the event without the hassle of waiting in line or filling out information on site.”

The 2026 Queen Street Cruise is already shaping up to be the biggest yet, with organizers hinting at major additions to this year’s programming. Among the highlights will be the appearance of a special surprise guest, with full details to be announced in the coming weeks.

There’s a lot of excitement building behind the scenes,” added Gary Trembinski Jr.

We’ve got some big things planned this year, including a very exciting guest announcement that we can’t wait to share. My Dad and I were working on this after the end of last year’s show and I’m excited that it’s coming to fruition.

It’s going to take the Cruise to another level. It’s a tough year and exciting year and I’m looking forward to honouring my Dad for everything he’s done for this community.”

The Queen Street Cruise continues to be one of Northern Ontario’s premier automotive events, drawing participants and spectators from across the region and beyond. With its vibrant atmosphere, growing attendance, and strong community support, the event remains a highlight of the summer calendar in Sault Ste. Marie.

Participants are encouraged to preregister early to secure their spot and be part of what promises to be an unforgettable weekend of cars, community, and cruising.
