The Goderich Salt & Harvest Festival to take place Sept. 3 – 6, 2026. Plans include: Free entrance to: Salted Market, Above Ground Salt Experience, Mine Rescue Demonstrations, Virtual Reality Mine Images, Salty Basin Beer Garden, Salt Walk, Farmers’ Market, Flea Market, Petting Zoo, Wagon Rides, Family Photo Booth, Inflatables, and more. Events that have fees: BIA Friday Night Concert, Saturday Compass Minerals Concert, Guided Tours & Tastings .

Thursday Sept 3rd, 2026:

Kicking off our weekend and back by popular demand, Goderich’s own Sal’s Alley will be returning to the Goderich Performance Stage for Saltfest as part of the BIA concert series. 

Show starts at 7 PM    Free Event. Cash donations accepted

Friday Sept 4, 2026:

This year brings another exciting partnership with the Downtown Goderich BIA!

Opening the show is Clara Stegall, originally based out of Grand Bend Ontario, and has performed internationally as both a solo artist and collaborator.

Headlining will be pop sensations SPICE & SPEARS, a high-energy tribute experience celebrating two of pop music’s biggest icons—the Spice Girls and Britney Spears—delivering a non-stop party atmosphere packed with live vocals, iconic choreography, multiple costume changes, and crowd-pleasing anthems from “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life” to “…Baby One More Time” and “Toxic,” creating a nostalgic, feel-good show for audiences of all ages. 

Gates open at 4:30PM   Adult tickets: $30 plus HST & fees

Under 13yr: $10 plus HST & fees   (adult accompaniment required)   This is an all ages, licensed event.

Saturday Sept 5th, 2026:

Goderich Tourism is pleased to announce the First Ever Salt and Harvest Festival BATTLE OF THE BANDS competition!

Six local bands will compete for cash prizes with the grand prize winner also being named “The Saltiest Band In Goderich!” as judged by a panel of distinguished industry professionals.

Headlining for the Saturday Compass Mineral’s concert will be Sarnia’s rock band, Retrospect.  Formed in 2010, Retrospect is a unique three-piece band that covers classic and progressive rock from all eras.
