Goderich Salt and Harvest Festival

This photo was taken during our Visitor Experience to the Goderich Salt and Harvest Festival. We were lined up to see to enter the Compass Minerals salt mine exhibit. We all dressed up as miners with safety vests, hard hats and lamps. adults and children.

Lang Pioneer Village Anniversary – War of 1812 Reenactment

Lang Pioneer Village Museum invited us to their 45th anniversary celebrations. Part of their celebration activities was a reenactment of the War of 1812 battle that included a meeting between General Isaac Brock and Chief Tecumseh. This photo was taken during the reenactments and shows British soldiers and warrior in battle.

St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival – Opening Night

Over the years we have attended several St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival open nights. The Prescott festival takes place in a riverside outdoor amphitheatre. Although you can’t take photographs during the play, we were able to take photos of attendees enjoying themselves during intermission.

Shaw Festival – Behind the Scenes Tour

During our Visitor Experience trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Shaw Festival we were able to take the “Beyond the Stage” tour. This was possible because of Shaw’s excellent accessibility program. This allowed us  to enjoy the full amazing tour. The Shaw volunteers, who lead the tour, were extremely helpful. As a result we were able to take a number of great photos and videos.

Toronto Waterfront Festival

Visits to the annual Toronto Waterfront Festival are always amazing. So much so, it was difficult choosing the right photo. This photo was taken at the Toronto Waterfront Festival during a Water Flyboarding demonstration.
