Our Arts Festival takes in downtown Port Hope on August 8, 2026. Featuring a 10-Minute Play Series, an outdoor artisan market, a community gathering in the park, and Under the Marquee Street Party. You can expect activities for the kids, art on display, live music and other fun surprises!

Get ready to celebrate Port Hope Arts Month With an unforgettable August lineup at The Capitol Theatre!
We are absolutely thrilled to bring you three spectacular events this month, including the highly anticipated world premiere of Farley Mowat’s And No Birds Sang and a gripping, uniquely Canadian adaptation of the classic thriller Gaslight. Plus, we are taking the celebration directly to the streets on August 8th with our annual Under the Marquee street party, happening in partnership with the Port Hope Arts Fest.
