SiriusXM Canada brings the rock band The Glorious Sons to perform at the inaugural Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham

Saturday or Weekend race tickets provide entry to the live concert at the SiriusXM Stage

MARKHAM, Ontario – Canadian rock band and multiple-time JUNO award-winning artists The Glorious Sons will perform at the inaugural Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham on Saturday, Aug. 15. The performance, starting at approximately 6:20 pm, will be presented by SiriusXM Canada.The concert will be part of a jam-packed day of racing action with Saturday’s headlining NASCAR Canada Series race following qualifying for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES on the temporary Markham street circuit.

Founded in 2011, the Kingston-based band has released two EPs and four full-length albums including the Platinum-certified “Young Beauties and Fools”, and the Gold-certified “The Union” and “A War On Everything”. They have over 450M global streams, across an iconic chart-topping catalogue that includes hits like “S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)”, “Everything Is Alright”, “Heavy”, “Panic Attack”, “Mama” and fan favourites “My Poor Heart” and “Kill The Lights” among others.

The SiriusXM Concert will be included in the price of admission for both 2-Day and Saturday Single Day ticket holders. The performance will take place 15 minutes after the end of the NASCAR Canada Series race at roughly 6:20 p.m. in the 407 ETR Thunder Alley. 2-Day General Admission tickets offer the best value for fans at $90 to take in the music and all the on track action, with a Saturday Single Day ticket priced at $50. Limited Grandstand seats are still available for fans looking for reserved seats with great sightlines around the 12-turn, 3.52-kilometre (2.19 mile) temporary circuit.

The weekend schedule is an action-packed lineup for fans, with the debut race in Markham for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES on Sunday, Aug. 16th, racing from the NASCAR Canada Series on Saturday, Aug. 15th and double-headers throughout the weekend from the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire and USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire and the Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin. In total fans will see five series racing in eight races over the festival weekend.
