Spring Events on Toronto’s Waterfront

May is shaping up to be one of the waterfront’s most active in recent memory!

  • Bike Share Toronto expansion: Starting May 1, a new dock will be installed at Centre Island Beach, bringing the total to five stations across the island.
  • Cherry blossoms in bloom: With around 30 trees at Centre Island, it’s a quieter alternative to High Park for blossom viewing.
  • Full ferry service returns: Beginning May 13, visitors can expect more frequent and convenient service to the islands.
  • New Irish arts and culture hub: The Corleck is opening on the waterfront and will host its first event this May.
  • International food market at Sugar Beach: Taking place May 16–18 over the long weekend, ”Festival of Flavours” features a range of global vendors.
