The STIRLING FESTIVAL THEATRE Inc., founded in 1996, is a not-for-profit provincially incorporated organization with federal charitable status.

We operate under the oversight and governance of a volunteer Board of Directors leading a small staff, contracted workers and our amazing Stirling Festival Theatre community volunteers dedicated to producing and presenting a wide variety of live entertainment experiences as well as providing education opportunities for youth in our region.

We all work hard to create our productions and to bring other artists to the historic Stirling Theatre in Stirling ON.

There are so many stories to be told!

A cultural and economic driver in the area, the Stirling Festival Theatre is a professional theatre that operates year-round and attracts audiences from as far away as Peterborough, Kingston, Ottawa and the eastern GTA.

Our Main Stage Theatre, seating 419, presents larger productions including: Young Company shows, tribute bands, concerts, and the annual musical theatre Panto.

Our flexible-seating Eugene Burrell Hall on the upper level and accessible by elevator, accommodates up to 96 with cabaret-style or banquet seating and is an intimate setting for murder mystery dinner theatres, comedy nights, concerts, play-readings, special events and pre-show theatre dinners.

MISSION STATEMENT
It is the purpose of The Stirling Festival Theatre Inc. to promote interest in, and appreciation of, the dramatic arts within our community.

The SFT will present professional theatrical events and will provide facilities for education in the arts. We place special emphasis on education and performance opportunities for youth within our community and the surrounding area.
