Jay Douglas is a cornerstone of Toronto’s Caribbean music who has shaped reggae’s enduring legacy in Canada. A longtime member of Harbourfront Centre’s musical community, Jay returns to Island Soul for a special one-night performance of reggae, ska and blues, joined by the extraordinary JUNO Award-winning vocalist, Liberty Silver.

The evening is part of a landmark day of reggae celebration, which also features the launch of Reggae Month Canada, a new national initiative celebrating Canada’s reggae heritage and its enduring cultural ties with Jamaica.
