Voyageur 200 cycling race returns to East Ferris in August

Cyclists from across Ontario will gather August 14–16 for the fourth annual Voyageur 200 presented by Lefebvre Commercial Industrial.
The event, which takes place in East Ferris, is a volunteer-run gravel cycling event that showcases the backroads, trails and communities of Northeastern Ontario while raising funds for the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) Foundation in support of cardiac and stroke care, including Aphasia awareness.
Founded by stroke survivor Jeff Miller, The Voyageur 200 has grown into one of Northern Ontario & #39;s premier gravel cycling events, bringing together riders, volunteers, sponsors and local communities for a weekend of adventure and giving back.
Participants can choose from 30 km, 65 km, 100 km or the signature 200 km route, with courses winding through East Ferris, Bonfield, Mattawa, North Bay, Callander and surrounding communities. Corbeil Park Hall once again serves as event headquarters, with festivities kicking off Friday evening with rider check-in and live music. New this year, basic on-site camping is available, making it easy to enjoy the full weekend experience. Saturday begins bright and early
with the 200 km riders rolling out at 5 am, followed by a full day of activities including a post-ride barbecue and beer garden, live local music, recovery massages and a new kids’ race in the afternoon.

“I’m incredibly grateful to our volunteers, sponsors, community partners and every rider who chooses to be part of this event. Together, we’re showcasing an incredible region while giving back to the hospital that helped me through one of the toughest challenges of my life.”
Since its inception, the event has donated thousands of dollars to the NBRHC Foundation, and organizers hope to continue building on that momentum in 2026.
