We’re thrilled to announce that Once Upon a Time, our annual gala, is moving to the beautifully transformed Schoolhouse and will now be offered as an exclusive, intimate experience for just 40 guests.

This exciting new format brings you closer than ever to the artists. In the warm and welcoming setting of the Schoolhouse, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of storytelling, music, and conversation with acclaimed novelist Jane Urquhart, Heidi Elise Bearcroft, Principal Harpist with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and pianist Brian Finley.

Guests will have the rare opportunity to experience these remarkable artists up close, as literature and music intertwine in an engaging and personal setting. Your ticket also includes thoughtful curated savoury treats, sweet delights, and refreshments.

As part of this reimagined event, the silent auction will move to our August 2 summer finale featuring Hilario Durán. Guests attending the concert will be invited to arrive early to browse the auction in the Meadow before the performance, making it a wonderful way to celebrate the close of our summer season.
