Your Story Could Be Part of VFF’s 15th Year

VFF 2027 International Short Film Submissions Open October 1.

For 15 years, the Vaughan International Film Festival has brought bold, original short films from around the world to the big screen.

Now, we’re looking for what comes next.

Beginning October 1, 2026, filmmakers from across the globe are invited to submit their short films (20 minutes or less) for consideration at the 2027 Vaughan International Film Festival, taking place July 5–8, 2027.

From drama and comedy to documentary, animation, horror and beyond — if you have a story to tell, we want to see it.
