Elliot Lake Winterfest returns with four days of fun in 2026

With a full lineup of family-friendly activities and entertainment, the city of Elliot Lake is preparing for another unforgettable edition of its annual Winterfest celebration

Get ready for the annual Elliot Lake Winterfest, a lively celebration that embraces the joys of winter!

This event promises to be a fantastic experience for both locals and visitors, featuring a wide range of outdoor activities, entertainment, and community events that cater to all ages.

Mark your calendars for the 2026 Winterfest, which will take place over four days, starting on Thursday, Feb. 5, and wrapping up on Sunday, Feb. 8.

The Winterfest celebration begins on Thursday, Feb. 5 with the Glow in the Snow Dance at Elliot Lake Intermediate School. On Friday, Feb. 6, attendees can enjoy a Trivia Night at the Elliot Lake Museum, followed by a Glow in the Dark Outdoor Skate.

Saturday, Feb. 7, features a Winterfest breakfast hosted by the Masonic Lodge, a drop-in craft session by the Elliot Lake Arts Club, and concludes with a Winterfest party at Spine Beach.

The festivities wrap up on Sunday, Feb. 8, with a Winterfest brunch, the Science North Exhibit and Show, a Sunday Scavenger Hunt, the Sled Box Derby at Mt. Dufour Ski Area, and the spectacular Winterfest Drone Show.
