Peterborough Musicfest Announces Dates for Its 39th Summer Season
PETERBOROUGH, ON — Summer may still be months away, but the countdown is officially on. Peterborough Musicfest is excited to announce the dates for its 39th season, returning to Del Crary Park from June 27 to August 19, 2026, with free live music by the lake all summer long.
Set against the waterfront at Del Crary Park’s Fred Anderson Stage, Musicfest will once again transform summer evenings into unforgettable community experiences — where the sun sets, the speakers turn up, and
thousands gather to enjoy live performances in the heart of downtown Peterborough.
As Canada’s longest-running free admission music festival, Peterborough Musicfest has become a cherished summer tradition, welcoming audiences of all ages and showcasing an eclectic mix of Canadian and international artists year after year.
“Musicfest has always been about bringing people together,” said Tracey Randall, Executive Director of Peterborough Musicfest. “There’s something incredibly special about sharing live music by the lake — it creates connection, joy, and lasting memories. We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back to Del Crary Park for another summer of free concerts and community celebration.”
Planning for the 2026 season is already well underway, with artist bookings, partnerships, and community collaborations taking shape behind the scenes. From legendary performers to exciting new discoveries, lineup announcements and season highlights will roll out in the months ahead. donation drive, food vending and pre-show activities.
