ICYMI: Dan Needles returns for Perth County Reads author events
Residents of Perth County are invited to join a shared literary journey through PCIN’s community-wide event
The Perth County Information Network (PCIN) is thrilled to announce the return of Dan Needles for two author readings as part of its Perth County Reads events.
Perth County Reads is a community-wide reading initiative designed to inspire conversation, connection, and a shared love of literature across the county. This year’s title is Finding Larkspur by acclaimed Canadian author Needles. Best known for his beloved Wingfield Farm series, Needles’ storytelling captures the heart of rural Ontario life, making him the perfect voice to bring the community together through reading.
The Perth County Reads program encourages residents to read the same book and participate in a variety of events and discussions. These initiatives are created to gather all ages and demographics of Perth County. All five PCIN libraries, North Perth, Perth East, St Marys, Stratford, and West Perth, have collaborated to bring dozens of new and fun events to your neighbourhood this fall.
The next author event will be at the Perth East Recreation Complex on Friday Oct. 24, at 2 p.m., located at 40 Temperance St, Milverton. Free tickets will be available at the Perth East Public Library or North Perth Public Library starting Oct. 1.
Guests must have a ticket to attend this all-ages event. The final author event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. at the Pyramid Recreation Center, located at 317 James St S, St. Marys. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
