Light Up the Night is wintry open-air concert featuring fabulous guests and a breathtaking display of fireworks. Thousands of people from the Mississippi Mills area and beyond fill the main street of Almonte for one of the largest and most magical outdoor Christmas shows in Canada.
Beat the rush and head to Almonte in the afternoon and enjoy some early Christmas shopping in our quaint downtown. Stay for dinner at one of our amazing restaurants – be sure to make a reservation so you are not disappointed!
Vendors open at 6:30 p.m. – Stage show starts at 7 p.m. sharp!

Pakenham Santa Claus Parade December 6, 2025
The parade loops around the route twice and leaves the Stewart Community Centre at 1 p.m. sharp, traveling the route outlined below:
• Travels from MacFarlane Street to Jeanie Street (towards the fire station)
• Makes a right on Hwy 29
• Right on Renfrew Street leading to MacFarlane Street
• Continues back to the Community Centre
The Pakenham & District Civitan Club will be collecting food donations for Lanark County Food Bank – The Hunger Stop during the parade.
Following the parade, the Pakenham & District Civitan Club will serve FREE hot dogs and hot chocolate!
Prizes will be awarded in the upper hall following the parade and enjoy FREE public skating!
