As another year draws to a close, we pause to reflect on the many experiences, adventures, and friendships that made 2025 so special. This holiday season, we want to extend our warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a joyful, healthy, and prosperous New Year to all our friends, partners, and followers across Ontario. This past year was one filled with discovery, connection, and celebration. We were proud to represent Ontario Visited at key industry gatherings, including the Central Counties Tourism Symposium, the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies Convention, and the Festivals and Events Ontario Conference, each one reminding us of the dedication and creativity that make Ontario’s tourism community so strong. Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) Conference
Throughout the year, we continued to travel the province, visiting and writing about some of Ontario’s most engaging experiences: Clearview Trail Tunes, Farmstead B&B Visitor Experience, Port Perry and Uxbridge Farmers’ Markets, Slabtown Cidery, and Second Wedge Brewery. Our journeys took us through the breathtaking landscapes of Parry Sound, Killarney, Killarney Provincial Park, Manitoulin Island, and South Baymouth, each a reminder of Ontario’s remarkable natural beauty.
Clearview Trail Tunes
We also enjoyed wonderful performances at Theatre on the Ridge and the Stratford Festival, witnessed skydiving thrills in Wasaga Beach, and even sailed aboard the legendary MS Chi-Cheemaun. We hosted an OAAS Webinar, promoted over 200 agricultural fairs, and once again had the honour of judging the Festivals and Events Ontario Awards. (Christmas Message)

Our digital outreach grew stronger than ever, with more Social Media Posts and Google Video Ads, and with more than 40 new “Roads Less Traveled” adventures shared across our platforms. We’re also grateful to our Ontario Visited correspondents for covering community gems like the Clearview Small Halls Festival and Port Hope’s Capitol Theatre. (Christmas Message)

It’s been a memorable year on the home front too! We welcomed new neighbours to Stratford, gathered for a wonderful family reunion, and celebrated milestones large and small, a baby girl’s arrival, a first home purchase, a college graduation and first full-time job, and a joyful engagement. One of the family even went skydiving, while another enjoyed a trip to Europe (not us!). We shared many summer picnics, an alumni lunch, and, of course, a pair of twins celebrated an important birthday, though one decided not to! Family laughter, love, and stories filled our year, and we’re grateful for every moment. (Christmas Message)
