SOUPer Bowl at Growing Chefs London Ontario 2025

The SOUPer Bowl
LONDON, ON – September 2025 – On Thursday, October 9, 2025, three London-based non-profits—Growing Chefs! Ontario, Urban Roots London, and Clayworx: Ceramic Arts Learning Centre—will come together to host the inaugural SOUPer Bowl at Growing Chefs! at The Grove. This innovative fundraising event combines food, art, and community collaboration to tackle local food insecurity and to support London artists in a new and sustainable way.

Guests will enjoy various soups and homemade breads prepared by Growing Chefs! Ontario chefs, featuring fresh, locally grown ingredients from both Growing Chefs! Ontario and Urban Roots London. Each soup will be served in a handcrafted bowl by Clayworx artists, with every guest selecting a unique bowl to use during the event and take home as a keepsake.

Following the meal, attendees will cast their vote to crown the SOUPer Bowl Champion (BEST IN SOUP 2025) The winning chef will receive a one of a kind hand-made SOUPer Bowl 2025 award and well-earned bragging rights.

The SOUPer Bowl is more than a culinary experience; it represents a new model of fundraising, where organizations pool resources and share proceeds to create greater impact. Together, Growing Chefs! Ontario, Urban Roots London, and Clayworx: Ceramic Arts Learning Centre demonstrate that addressing complex challenges such as food insecurity requires collaboration, not competition.

This annual event will serve as the cornerstone of an ongoing partnership, with three lead-up events hosted throughout the year by each organization.
