THE SCOOP ON THE TICKETS … GET THEM FAST!
The Scoop on the Tickets Ontario Visited asks: So, tickets sell fast for these events. Can you tell our visitors and your visitors how they can get a hold of tickets and how they can stay on top of whether the events are sold out so they don’t miss out and aren’t disappointed?
Grace shares: You can visit smallhallsfestival.ca you can view the whole schedule for the year. as well as the links to purchase tickets are on there as well because they’re small venues. So, like you said, Judi, tickets sell out quickly. So, you’re going to want to get yours as soon as you can.
Ontario Visit is excited to make the trip back to Clearview to experience the small halls and we’ll be sure to be stopping by some of the unique shops and communities along the way.
SPONSORS
As Small Halls are the heartbeat of the communities, the sponsors who generously donate to the Small Halls Festival, the Halls, the community are the heroes to thank! Without them, many events, festivals, fundraising events and so much more may not be able to happen.
It the Small Halls are the glue that helps hold communities together, it’s the sponsors and the many volunteers that are the binders to the glue also.
Creemore Springs actually one of our premier sponsors and has been for almost the whole entire festival’s lifespan basically.
Grace shares: As well as all of the Tim Hortons in Clearview as well. There are our official volunteer sponsor. Actually, I’m wearing the old small halls, but they’re Creemore Springs is on the back of my shirt. but yeah, those guys, those are our sponsors. we’re actually partnering with quite a few of the businesses in Creemore this year for some of our events.
So that’s the nice thing with small halls is we’re really able to work with our local businesses. like I mentioned, even Dunedin Cider House, they always provide cider for our events, which is nice. but yeah, so there’s lots to check out.

The Community Halls, or “Small Halls” as they are affectionately called, are often referred to as the heart of Clearview Township. In Clearview, we’re proud of our rural agricultural heritage and the Small Halls have been a cornerstone of the rural community for generations. Everything from card games, birthdays and anniversaries to dances, reunions and weddings, Small Halls have been a gathering place for rural communities to socialize and mark important occasions. In Clearview, we’re fortunate to have so many of them providing valuable programs and services to the community. The Small Halls Festival, founded in 2014, was created to celebrate the legacy of the Small Halls. To showcase their uniqueness and the value that they add to the communities throughout our Township. It’s a festival to commemorate and celebrate the rural way of life we continue to enjoy today.
In 2022, the Small Halls Festival transitioned from a single-weekend event to a festival series. There are now events happening between September to November. This allows visitors the opportunity to experience as many halls as possible over several weeks and come back and discover everything Clearview Township has to offer.
The cherished Small Halls have been open for families to enjoy for generations and the Small Halls Festival is no different! Whether it is the “Chicken Races at Duntroon”, Family Bowling Night at Avening Hall or the Hike the Bluffs starting at Singhampton Hall, the Festival has been able to provide free family activities. We are proud to partner with the Creemore Festival of the Arts and showcase local and regional artists each year!
