The Alice Munro Festival of the Short Story returns in 2024! The theme for this year's festival is 'Lives of Girls and Women'. Save the dates for this year’s event and stay tuned for more information as we announce our exciting lineup of authors.
The festival begins in Blyth with a live stage performance entitled ‘Post Alice’ written by Taylor Marie Graham. Evening performances will take place on the Blyth Festival’s Harvest Stage June 5, 6, and 8th. Opening night festivities take place on June 7th in Wingham, the birth place of Alice Munro, where we will announce the winners of the Short Story Contest and a new Digital Art Contest, followed by two full days of exciting masterclasses and author readings in Bayfield.
