Beach volleyball event July 26 will support local Ronald McDonald House

Help support families of sick children by supporting local firm DKI – ER Global’s beach volleyball event next week

There is still time to sign up for DKI – ER Global’s fundraising beach volleyball tournament, which is set to go at the Howard Armstrong Centre on July 26.

The event will raise funds for the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Health Sciences North, which supports families with children receiving treatment in the paediatric and neonatal intensive care units at the hospital.

“This is an opportunity to raise much-needed funds RMHC Canada, a cornerstone of our community, providing exceptional support to sick children and families in times of need,” the firm said in an email to Sudbury.com.

Teams of three to five people (though five is preferred) are welcome to register at a cost of $500 per team. The registration deadline is July 21.

The one-day tournament will be held at the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre, 4040 Elmview Dr. in Hanmer.

The tournament runs from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on July 26.
