Black History Month Orillia 2025
Black History Month Orillia 2025
February is Black History Month! The City of Orillia proudly recognizes the significant contributions of Black Canadians, both past and present. This February, we invite everyone to reflect on the rich history and heritage of Black Canadians and their impact on shaping our society.
The City is proud to support Arts Orillia and the Orillia And Area Black Community Association in their powerful production of Black in Canada. Performed by award-winning choreographer Shameka Blake and Artists in Motion, “Black in Canada” brings attention to the overlooked histories of blackness and black people in Canada. Don’t miss this incredible show. Tickets are available at artsorillia.ca.
