Buckhorn Community Centre – Spring Craft Show
~ SUMMER SEASON STARTS WITH CRAFT SHOW ~
The 43rd annual Spring Craft Show kicks off a busy summer season at the Buckhorn Community Centre (BCC). On Victoria Day weekend, more than 70 artisans and crafters will showcase jewellery, soaps, sauces, home décor items, candles and much more.
Show organizer, Meghan Arnott, says, “As one of the longest running craft shows in Ontario, we recognize the need to evolve and offer something new for our visitors. This show features several new vendors, along with returning favourites with even more choices of unique products.”
The Spring Craft Show takes place at the BCC in the main building and Festival Park in enclosed pavilions. There’s also a snack bar and BBQ in the park.
The show runs Saturday, May 17 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday, May 18 from 10am to 4pm. General admission is $5 and children 12 and under are admitted free of charge. Your admission gives you the chance to win a $100 Shopping Spree at the 2025 Harvest Craft Show. There is free parking and a free shuttle bus from the upper parking lot to the show. Dogs are allowed in the park, but must be on a leash and are not allowed in buildings or covered areas.
Meghan says, “This show is the kick off to our busy summer here at the BCC. There’s the Canada Day celebration on July 1, the Buckhorn Festival of the Arts in August, the Classic Car & Truck Show in September and the Harvest Craft show on Thanksgiving weekend. Add those signature events to our ongoing fitness programs, summer camps for kids and seniors programs, the BCC is the place to be!”
The Buckhorn Community Centre is a not-for-profit organization and raises funds with events and ongoing programs throughout the year. Please visit www.buckhorncommunitycentre.com for more information about the show and the BCC.
