Celebrate June in the County of Brant!
The County of Brant is thrilled to announce the return of Celebrate June—our annual, month-long celebration honouring Seniors Month and Recreation and Parks Month. Hosted by the Parks and Recreation Division, Celebrate June is a community favourite that brings County residents of all ages together through recreation and leisure activities at spaces throughout Brant.
“Celebrate June is one of the highlights of our year in the County of Brant,” said Stacey Ellins, Director of Parks and Recreation. “It’s a time to recognize our seniors, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage meaningful community connections. We’re proud to offer events that bring people together and reflect the diversity and spirit of our community.”
June will be filled with a wide range of free and low-cost activities designed for residents of all ages. From outdoor fitness classes and walking groups to social events, family-friendly fun, and multi-generational programming—there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Key highlights this June include:
- The Opening of the Paris Community Pool on June 1, offering public swims for all ages throughout the summer. A perfect way to stay active, cool off, and enjoy time with family and friends.
- The Pride Month Flag Raising Ceremony on June 9, celebrating diversity, inclusion, and belonging in the County of Brant. All are welcome to attend and show their support.
- Seniors Month programming, featuring a wide range of events such as workshops, games, fitness activities, a classic car cruise, and more—all designed to celebrate the experiences, energy, and ongoing involvement of older adults in our community.
- June is Bike Month, and the County is encouraging residents to get moving on two wheels! Whether you’re cycling for fun, fitness, or transportation, Bike Month is a great time to explore our scenic trails and cycling routes.
- The Park vs Park Challenge, a friendly competition inviting residents to visit and vote for their favourite local parks. Explore new green spaces, participate in park activities, and help crown Brant’s top park of 2025!
