History of the Centreville Fair

The Centreville Fair, held in Centreville, Ontario, boasts a rich history spanning over 168 years. Originally named the Camden Fair, it received a grant of 29 pounds and 7 shillings in its inaugural year. This longstanding event has become a cherished tradition, celebrating the agricultural heritage and community spirit of the region.

Hosted by the Centreville Agricultural Society, the fairgrounds feature a park and grandstand that serve as a gathering place for various community events throughout the year. The fair typically opens on the Friday of the Labour Day weekend and concludes by the following night, offering a variety of activities and exhibits that showcase the best of rural life.
