A Showcase of Livestock & 4-H Excellence

History of the Desboro Fall Fair
The Desboro Fall Fair, held in Desboro, Ontario, is a cherished annual event that has celebrated the community’s agricultural heritage for over 160 years. Organized by the Desboro Agricultural Society, the fair offers a variety of activities and exhibits that highlight the region’s rural traditions.
In 2019, the fair celebrated its 161st anniversary, featuring events such as 4-H sheep and calf shows, a parade, and traditional competitions including cattle shows, baking, floral arranging, arts and crafts, and grain competitions. Unique contests like the frog jumping competition and the renowned potato auction, supporting the last 4-H Potato Club in Ontario, underscore the fair’s commitment to engaging the community in distinctive and meaningful ways.
The 165th Desboro Fall Fair is scheduled for August 29th and 30st, 2024, at the Desboro Arena and Fairgrounds. The fair continues to offer a range of events, including livestock shows, parades, tractor pulls, musical entertainment, and various competitions for all ages.
