Disney’s Frozen, Tragically Hip musical set for 2025-2026 at Hamilton’s Theatre Aquarius

Theatre AquariusHamilton’s regional theatre company – has freshly announced their 2025/2026 season of plays and musicals, and there’s plenty to get excited about.

Five productions will hit the mainstage in Aquarius’ upcoming season including a smash hit Disney favourite, comedies by some of the country’s best playwrights, an Agatha Christie murder mystery, and the world premiere of a new musical featuring songs by one of Canada’s most beloved and iconic rock bands.

While the lineup offers something for everyone, there are two big draws that will surely catch the most attention. The first is the regional premiere of Frozen the Broadway Musical, adapted from the mega-popular Disney film and starring Hamilton’s own Kaleigh Gorka as Elsa. Frozen will be Aquarius’ holiday musical for 2025; expect it to be a hot ticket!

The second is the season closer premiering in Spring 2026: It’s a Good Life If You Don’t Weaken, a brand-new musical that draws from the expansive catalogue of The Tragically Hip. Theatre and music fans alike won’t want to miss it.

But there’s plenty else to enjoy in the season including the comedy The Time Capsule by Matt Murray, the music-centric solo show Boom X by chameleonic performer Rick Miller, and the riveting Agatha Christie classic Murder on the Orient Express.

Subscription packages and more information are available now on the Theatre Aquarius website.
