NEWS from Norfolk County, April 28, 2025 – The Norfolk County Agricultural Society is thrilled to announce the First Annual Great Garage Sale at the Fairgrounds! Mark your calendars and join us on Saturday, May 24, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds, located at 172 South Drive, Simcoe ON.
This exciting new community-focused event offers everyone the chance to buy, sell, or trade treasures in a lively and welcoming atmosphere. With proceeds supporting the Agricultural Society’s educational programs and community initiatives, attendees can enjoy shopping for great finds while making a difference.
Event Highlights
Shop or Sell Your Pre-Loved Items: Whether you’re a bargain hunter searching for hidden gems or an avid seller ready to declutter, this is your chance to take part in a community-driven marketplace.
Affordable Vendor Spaces Available: Reserve your outdoor table for $20 or secure an indoor table for $30. Each 10 foot space contains one 8 foot table, offering plenty of space to showcase your items. Spaces are limited, so act fast to secure your spot!
Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Attendees can indulge in delicious offerings such as a pancake breakfast, bake sale, and BBQ while enjoying the community spirit of the garage sale.
Support Local Agriculture & Community Initiatives: Proceeds from The Great Garage Sale will directly benefit educational programs and initiatives promoting agricultural awareness and community through the Norfolk County Agricultural Society.

The Ag Society is accepting donations of your gently used, good condition items to sell and raise funds for their impactful programs! Your “junk” might just become someone else’s treasure, and every donation helps support the vital work the Ag Society does to enrich and enhance our community.
Donate items in good condition, such as furniture, home decor, tools, electronics, and more! Drop off donations at 172 South Drive, BLG #5 (Office) starting May 5. (See donation hours posted on our website)
ATTEND, SHOP ENJOY
Admission is free! A pancake breakfast, Bake Sale and fundraising BBQ will be available on site. Bring your family and friends for a morning filled with bargains, delicious food, and vibrant community connections.
