Happy New Year from the Thousand Island Playhouse

As we reflect on the past year and look ahead to 2025, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your support of the Thousand Islands Playhouse. 2024 was huge – we welcomed record-breaking audiences, extended shows due to popular demand, greatly expanded our educational opportunities for young people, and renovated our lobby to allow you to enjoy even better views of the spectacular St. Lawrence River. Your enthusiasm and support allowed us to continue creating world-class theatre and unforgettable experiences from our waterfront home.

In the coming year, we’ll continue where we left off. We’re journeying to new heights: flying over the cobbled streets of Cherry Tree Lane, singing along with country music’s greatest star, and reconnecting with the familiar landscape of farm life in rural Ontario. Our Production Department is already working on bringing these stories to life on stage next season. Their artistry will transport you to new worlds where you’ll find Canada’s top theatre talent portraying beloved characters, feuding neighbours, frazzled fiancés, and one heckuva slimy boss.

Whether you join us for a musical, comedy, drama, or the entire lineup, we look forward to welcoming you back to the Playhouse next summer. Until then, I wish you a warm, safe winter and holiday season.
