International Women’s Day event in Barrie will help local shelter

The Women and Children’s Shelter of Barrie invites the community to celebrate International Women’s Day at the 2025 International Women’s Day Luncheon with the theme #AccelerateAction.
Join in person on Saturday, March 8 at Barrie Chrysler (395 Dunlop St. W.) for an inspiring event featuring a special presentation from Joanna Shaw, judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, Family Court.
This event offers an opportunity to honour the women in our lives — whether it’s a friend, family member, colleague, or someone who has made a difference in your community. We encourage you to treat the women you admire to a delightful catered lunch, complete with a complimentary gift bag filled with local goodies.
