Established in 1851, the Kincardine Fall Fair is one of Ontario’s oldest agricultural fairs, and this year’s theme—“Fields, Flannels, and Friends”—perfectly captures the cozy, rural charm that defines the weekend.

Agriculture at the Heart

As always, the fair’s agricultural roots are front and centre. Visit the barns and livestock rings to experience Livestock Shows featuring cattle, sheep, and more. The exciting 4H Beef Invitational brings together young competitors from across the region to showcase their hard work and animal care skills. It’s a great opportunity for visitors to learn about animal husbandry and support local youth in agriculture.

Inside the exhibit halls, the Homecraft Exhibits celebrate the talents of the community with colourful displays of baking, quilting, preserves, handicrafts, and photography. Meanwhile, Agricultural Exhibits showcase the bounty of the fields, with beautiful displays of local crops, produce, and farming equipment.
