LaSalle Holiday Lights return with festive events and family fun

The annual Holiday Lights display will illuminate the LaSalle Civic Centre at 5950 Malden Rd from Nov. 22, 2024, to Jan. 5, 2025.

The outdoor light show will transform the area into a magical wonderland, featuring ornamental displays, holiday-themed lights, and a towering 40-foot-tall walk-through tree. The lights will be on daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Festivities kick off on Nov. 22 at 5 p.m. with a special event led by Mayor Crystal Meloche and the LaSalle Council. The event includes a countdown to the tree lighting at 6 p.m., food trucks, visits with Santa, roaming characters, a magician, and face painting.

LaSalle Holiday Lights Heritage Nights has become a cherished tradition that brings our community together to celebrate the magic and warmth of the season,” said Patti Funaro, Director of Culture and Recreation.

During weekend programming, the area transforms into a festive wonderland with characters, food, and fun activities.”

Weekend programming will run from Nov. 22 to Dec. 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with the following themes:
