The Port Credit Ribfest is set to take over Memorial Park in Mississauga’s waterfront neighbourhood next month, serving up award-winning ribs, brisket, pulled pork and more from top pitmasters across North America.
Produced by Ontario Festival Group, the three-day event will feature BBQ heavy-hitters, including Camp 31, Boss Hogs, Big Texas, Billy Bone’s and Silver Bullet BBQ.
Beyond the meats, festival-goers can expect funnel cakes, poutines, corn dogs, twisted taters, roasted corn and cold beer.
Family-friendly activities include face painting, carnival games, a Kids Zone and a vendor marketplace.
Live music and entertainment will run all weekend with acts like Exodus (Bob Marley tribute), Hell n Back (AC/DC tribute), Tom Barlow and more local bands and DJs.
Port Credit Ribfest runs from Aug. 8 to 10, with hours from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
