History of the Merrickville Fair

The Merrickville Fair, held annually in Merrickville, Ontario, is a longstanding event that celebrates the village’s rich agricultural heritage and community spirit. The fair features a midway, 4-H livestock show events, agricultural displays, and various other attractions that draw visitors to the town each summer.

In 2019, the fair marked its 181st edition, underscoring its deep-rooted presence in the community. The opening ceremony that year was attended by local dignitaries, including the Mayor of Merrickville-Wolford, Doug Struthers, highlighting the fair’s significance to the village.
