OTTAWA, ON – Jam Filled Entertainment, a Boat Rocker company, will present the inaugural TAC Lifetime Achievement Award to Ottawa’s PIP Animation Studios Founder and CEO Dulcie Clark during the 2024 Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF). Clark will be recognized for her contributions to the local and international animation communities during the Festival’s industry counterpart, The Animation Conference (TAC), on September 26, 2024, at the National Arts Centre (NAC) in Ottawa.

At the OIAF, we are honoured to present the inaugural TAC Lifetime Achievement Award to Dulcie, a trailblazer and an outstanding leader in the industry,” says OIAF Managing Director Kelly Neall. “Dulcie empowered and mentored a whole generation of industry talent. As we worked to build the OIAF, she always supported the Festival and gave helpful advice. At TAC, we are excited to celebrate her extraordinary career and look forward to the continued impact of her work in the animation community.

The founder and CEO of PIP Animation Studios, Clark has worked in the animation industry since 1988. Her credit list includes a collection of animated TV series, specials and two feature-length animated movies, Pirates Passage (2015) and Lamya’s Poem (2021). Under her leadership, the studio has garnered numerous awards and recognitions.
