Rodeo fans can experience fast-paced excitement without leaving Ontario this spring and summer.
It’s not the Calgary Stampede, but it might be the next best thing.
Cowboys and cowgirls will compete in a series of equestrian challenges at the Ontario RAM Rodeo Tour, starting May 24.
The tour visits 16 Ontario communities this year, offering a memorable experience for fans and competitors.
Featured events include barrel racing, saddle bronc, bareback riding, bull riding, pole bending and more.
Each tour visit is expected to attract about 2,000 spectators. Events feature a mix of traditional rodeo competitions, family-friendly entertainment, and community involvement.
Series kickoff
The season kicks off in Grey Highlands on Saturday, May 24 and concludes with the RAM Rodeo Championship Finals in Ancaster on Oct. 17.
Home Hardware Stores Limited is sponsoring the tour.

More than $300,000 in prize money is up for grabs among competitors.
How to get tickets
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance. Tickets are also available at the gate for most events.
