The Shannonville Agricultural Society is once again hosting the Shannonville World’s Fair at the Tyendinaga Township Recreational Complex at 363 McFarlane Rd., Shannonville. The fair is an opportunity for families to come together to celebrate the end of the summer season. The fair offers a variety of events including: a tractor pull, 4H beef show, 4H dairy show, petting zoo, mini golf, inflatable games, family games, horse barrel racing, family fun run, old fashioned games, balloon artist, face painting, foam party, zucchini races, antique tractor display, live music and equipment. New this year will be a farmer’s market to compliment artisan alley. The community is encouraged to enter the competitive exhibits venue for cash prizes in categories ranging from roots & vegetables, to grains, seeds & hay; domestic sciences; canned fruits & jellies; flowers & plants; home crafts; nd children’s & youth crafts.
