A new cultural star is on the horizon for "Stratty." The inaugural Stratford Winter Film Festival (SWFF)* will take place from Friday, February 9th to Sunday, February 11th 2024. The motivation behind this initiative is simple: to hold a bright and positive annual event during the darkest and quietest days of winter, something to help lift spirits and banish the winter blues.
This year's triple theme of food, music and history is designed to appeal to a wide range of interests. Film showings will take place at five locations. We have many exciting things planned, including collaborations with some of Stratford's leading establishments.
The many Stratfordians who have been part of this project's development have fully embraced the initiative. SWFF will be a draw for out-of-towners as well as locals, thereby bolstering the city's economic activity.
