Volunteers and Sponsors Needed for Ontario 55+ Summer Games
Greater Sudbury will host the 2025 Ontario 55+ Summer Games from August 5 to 7 – a premier multi-sport event celebrating active living, community spirit and friendly competition for participants aged 55 and over from across Ontario.
With over 1,200 participants expected to compete in events ranging from pickleball and tennis to golf and swimming, these Games promise to bring energy, excitement and inspiration to our community. But we can’t do it without you!
Join the Team
Hosting an event of this scale takes a dedicated team of volunteers – and that’s where you come in. We’re looking for hundreds of volunteers to help with:
- Sport and venue operations
- Medical services
- Transportation support
- Special events
- And much more
“No matter your age or experience, there’s a way for everyone to contribute,” said Barb Nott, Games Organizing Committee Chair and Volunteer Services Co-Chair. “Volunteering for the Games is not only a chance to support healthy living and sport – it’s a chance to meet new people, gain experience and help show off the incredible spirit of Sudbury. We’re calling on our community to step up and be part of something memorable.”
