Discovering Ontario – Winter Walk

Enjoy a Winter Walk
When you take a winter walk in Ontario, you need to be careful!
At least, that’s my theory.
There are many wonderful walking trails for winter walks available in Ontario, but most are not set up for “normal” walking.
For example, in our area, you can take a winter walk on the Georgian Trail.
It’s okay for cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
I guess these could be considered as a form of outings (your choice).
The type of winter walk I’m thinking about are the ones that are cleared. Yes, I am a wimp!
However, I do like to go out, especially with Judi.
In our area, especially in The Blue Mountains, there have a very good way of clearing and sanding the sidewalks, perfect for a winter walk.
There are other “clear” places to enjoy.
Unfortunately, the Beach is not one of them!
When we were living in Cobourg, we could go to Lang Pioneer Village Museum at Christmas.
And, as a bonus, enjoy the Christmas carolers!
Now, we have closer places to enjoy “clear” winter walk. The Blue Mountain Village Resort is always a great place to enjoy.
So, when you are out
, make sure you take plenty of “selfies“! You will want to show your friends how much “fun” you are having!
As my father use to say and do, “go for a winter walk at the Mall“!
So, first, let’s take a look at a video that Judi (Scoop) and I made, see below! When I refer to “be careful“, I am referring to a winter walk outside, in the snow or ice.
